Bachelor work describe basic configuration some possibility communication with using cameras, sensors and systems elements.
System for Remote Monitoring of Beer Brewing Process
Klíma, Oldřich ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on problematics of remote monitoring and process control system for homebrewing, that are based on open source software. In the first chapter there is an introduction into beer brewing processes and the differences between industrial, small and home brewery is described. In the next chapter there are some informations about Internet of Things and suitable embedded platform is choosen. One of the compared software solution will be instaleand on this platform. The procedure of implementation is described in the next parts and thesis is then focusing on changes in the program of backend server application. These changes are imrpoving stability of whole system and they are adding support for wireless communication with controlled switches and sensors. The last part of this thesis introduces reader into set up and controll process of the software sollution.
PDU with Consumption Metering Function for Single-Board Computers
Ondráček, Roman ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a power distribution unit for single-board computers that can switch its individual outputs and also measure electrical quantities (voltage, current and power) based on the Espressif ESP32 platform and to design a web interface for the management of these power distribution units. This solution will be mainly aimed for the use of power distribution units in the development process of embedded devices built on top of single board computers. The proposed solution consists of a power distribution unit and a management information system, the communication between the different parts is done using the MQTT protocol. The information system can be used to control the individual outputs of the power distribution unit, to view graphs of the measured quantities.
Implementation of a smart home system using single-board computer Arduino
ČERNOHORSKÝ, Kryštof
The aim of this work is to create a smart home using single-board computer Arduino. The work consists of creation of a web application for remote access with the help of Internet of Things (IoT), implementation into created model of an apartment and demonstration of operation in practice. It presents an overview of history and description of Arduino computers, which are the brain of every smart home, and a comparison with current commercial models of a smart home. It also deals with a development of a program for controlling a smart home, a web application for remote control through IoT and creation of a smart home model using Arduino and its shields. All this is to show advantages and disadvantages of self-made smart home, its affordability and implementation into real households.
Using single-board computers in education
Pěnkava, Vít ; Svoboda, Vladimír (advisor) ; Lapeš, Jakub (referee)
The bachelor thesis introduces single-board computers, their definition, history and specific attributes of modern ones. Alongside this, there is information about resources of projects and organizations focused on these SBCs in education environment. The second part is about configure centralised user accounts and file storage system PiNet for a Rasberry Pi classroom, blinking LED on two most used platforms and after all making more complex project overlapping other subjects like a physics and biology. 1
